Some Random acts by Josie

  1. When asked Saturday morning (26th) by Michelle at Bannekar what Daddy was doing, she responded by saying "pooping."
  2. Had a pretend Pampered Chef party for her friends. And fixed them supper. Then told them to have a good time and enjoy. (27th)
  3. Said that an empty Sprite bottle was her "spitter." Thanks Daddy! (27th)
  4. Is all about "pretend home" and "pretend French Lick". I think the girls' pretend friend is Hannah Montana.(26th)
  5. Loves dancing to music, caught her tonight with hands on the floor, push up style and kicking her feet around. I think this may have been an attempt at break dancing.(27th)
  6. Asked Papa Mike the other night, "How old U are?" when she called to tell him Happy Birthday.(24th)
  7. This morning (1st) she sneezed and it sounded runny. I told her to go get a Kleenex, she goes into daddy and says "I need a Kleenex i blessed you."
  8. Is really getting into the "princess" stuff.

Bannekar Basketball~ Kayla 2011

Kayla's basketball team this year is all boys. She is the only girl on the team. But that isn't stopping her and she is enjoying every minute of it. Josie & I went to watch her play on Saturday. Which Josie informed me after the game that she wanted to play basketball next year. We'll see!
Anyway, Kayla made a basket and she was really the only one I noticed having much control over the ball dribbling. So she is following right in her Mommy's footsteps.
The photos arent' that great. I learned that I am going to need that new lens I want before Josie starts doing this type of stuff. Oh darn!!! :-) So who wants to donate?

Kayla makes a basket!

She tries on this one but it missed.

I'm ready to go start watching baseball. That was my sport. What was your sport as a child?

Indianapolis Children's Museum & 2.5 yr check up

We went to the doctor on Monday (21st) for Josie's Two and a Half year checkup. Her weight was 38 lbs (above 97%), her height was 38 1/2 (above 95%) and her development was 3 years and 7 months. I can't believe how much this girl keeps growing. But we have slowed down on weight lately, which is helping on the clothes. I don't seem to be getting rid of clothes all the time that don't fit now.
After the doctor we took her to the Children's Museum because it was free. I wouldn't suggest doing this if you have ever thought about it. We figured that the schools in Indy would be in school due to all of the snow days. I don't know if they were or not but that place was ridiculously packed. Mike & I both decided we would rather pay next time than to deal with that crowd. We had to park way down the road in another parking lot cause everything close was full and then we got to walk in the rain all the way to the garage. So much fun!!! But Josie still enjoyed her time there and said she had fun.
Making Barbie clothes.

This photo kills me! It's as if she is saying "Mom, what do you think you are doing?"

Flying to Egypt with Daddy.

It took us all day for the line to die down to get to go in the Dora & Diego exhibit. She had fun once we were in there.
